2B's Got Character Traits in the Bag
Posted 01/29/2014 09:08AM

In second grade, we have been focusing on analyzing characters while reading fiction stories. The students have learned about character traits and how characters can change throughout a story…just like people can change in real life! Students worked in pairs to create a character paper bag report to show they’ve mastered analyzing characters. Each pair worked on a book that we had already read as a class.
In their report they included:
·      Character traits & evidence
·      An important quote from their character
·      How the character changed from the beginning to end of the story
·      Likes & dislikes
·      An object/s that represent their character inside their bag
