The Dancing Snails Read Three Little Pigs
Posted 10/11/2017 09:46AM

The Dancing Snails have enjoyed building their own house with the big blocks in our classroom. To extend their interest and knowledge in this area we have begun to read stories that feature houses in them.

The story of the Three Little Pigs is a classic story that is well known to most of the children in our class and it is now a class favorite. After reading this story, the children began building houses to keep them safe from the Big Bad Wolf.

Little did the children know that while they were busy building and enjoying the story they were also learning new vocabulary, features a story, spatial awareness, math skills and growing as communicators and collaborators.
