Grade 5 Chinese Tea Study
Posted 06/11/2014 03:19PM

Tea plays an important role in Chinese daily life. The grade 5 CLD class focused their culture study on Chinese Tea. It includes: the history of Chinese tea, the types of tea; how to produce tea how to distinguish different kinds of tea, and the Chinese tea ceremony.

G5 students made a presentation to introduce their topic tea to each other, and showed the whole procedure of the Chinese tea ceremony. This year we have studied Green Tea, Wulong Tea, Iron Mercy Godness Tea, Whiite Tea, Jasmin Tea, and Puer Tea.

A Chinese Tea field trip for all of grade 5 happened on May 28. Each of the students in Ms. King’s class led other G5 students through the local tea house to show Chinese tea culture and how to perform a tea ceremony.
