The Little Bunnies learn about Chinese culture
Posted 02/11/2014 03:09PM

Being a guest in China is an opportunity to learn about Chinese culture.

When Chinese New Year approaches we teach children some of the Chinese traditions.

Though the children in the Nursery class are young they understand some of the simple art and craft activities.

In preparation for the ECLC Chinese parade we make red envelopes, and decorate a horse pictures - the zodiac for the new year that we carry in the parade, make red lanterns, red fireworks,  creating peach blossom in a cup and printing Fireworks pictures.

The day before the holiday we dance holding our horses and sing Chinese songs.
