Sonia Leong was at the Bayside campus from January 21-22. This well known manga artist led students in how-to workshops on storyboarding in English classes and basic illustration in art classes. She also gave a demonstration of her work and answered questions in an all-campus assembly.

SIS hosted a workshop based on inquiry and assessment in the PreK-Grade 2 years. Facilitating this workshop was Holly Reardon, a professional development specialist and Head of the Early Childhood Department at The Western Academy of Beijing.

SIS will introduce Identification Cards and Lanyards for all adults within our school community. The initial issuing of cards of ID's will take place over the next two weeks for the Parkside and Mountainside Campuses (Jingshan). (Bayside cards will be issued soon after the completion of the Jingshan process.)
