Students in IB Higher Level Math are highly motivated and engaged in solving challenging calculus integrations. As we move towards the final topics in the core and prepare to begin the additional 48 hours in the Options, students are maximizing their learning potential by modeling the IB Learner Profile already masterfully embedded in SIS ESLR’s. Inside the classroom, we are exploring different methods to personalize their educational experiences based on individual learning styles and how they best learn. The graphing calculator is now a highly respected and appreciated teaching tool, allowing them to check their work on complex IB style questions. In fact, Higher Level math students in Year 2 have already mastered information that most students in engineering colleges have just begun studying in their second semester of university studies! Congrats to the 6 amazingly dedicated students taking on the challenge and finding their own successes…you have already made us so proud!
