Elementary School Assemblies are a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our students' success as learners and global citizens at Shekou International School. We come together to celebrate all the hard work and effort of our students as they find meaningful opportunities to grow from rigorous and innovative learning experiences, including healthy failures as a first step towards success.
Our assemblies provide the venue for our students to live out our ESLRs and our rigorous curriculum. Each month, our students from each grade level design a celebration that highlights an ESLR. Our monthly assemblies allow all of our students from grades Kindergarten through 5 the opportunity to take a leading role in a creative and collaborative manner.
This year's first assembly was led by our Grade 5 students highlighting and celebrating our students as Complex Thinkers. All of our assemblies for this year are on the school calendar. We look forward to seeing many families at our assemblies this year as we celebrate all the wonderful learning experiences of our students!
